Healthy Crockpot Turkey Chili

I feel like this time of year begs for something warm and hearty to shake off the cold. One of Webb’s favorite meals that I make is a healthy and easy version of chili.

Throw all of these ingredients in the crockpot, cook on low for 7 hours and warm until ready to serve. Add your own personal flare with your favorite toppings!

2 yellow onions, chopped

20 or so ounces of ground turkey breast (break it up once in the crockpot)

3 tbsp chopped garlic

3 tbsp chili powder

2 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp cumin

2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp salt

1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes (or 2 28 oz cans if you like your chili less meaty and a soupier feel)

1 15 oz can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 15 oz can of bbq baked beans, slightly drained (we like bbq flavor)

1 4 oz can of diced green chilis (we like things spicy so we opt for the hot)

1 7 oz can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
